Planned service maintenance on all our e-services

On Saturday 10 June between 08–14, there will be maintenance work on all our e-services. You will not be able to log in during this time.

If you have been self-employed, you may be eligible to benefit from us if you have entirely ceased working with your own company or if your company is dormant. In order to receive benefits you can not carry out any activities.

The daily allowance is based either on the income shown in the most recent tax assessment or on the average of the 2 years before the income year in the most recent tax assessment. The income you had before joining an unemployment insurance fund cannot be taken into account when we calculate your benefit. The unemployment benefit is not intended to support starting a new company. Nor should it be used to supplement the income of unprofitable companies.

Dormant company

If you run your own business, you can keep it dormant during 2023 without affecting your right to unemployment benefits. Normally, you must have worked in the company for at least five years before you can receive benefits from the unemployment insurance fund if your company is dormant again.

In 2023, if you have a dormant company and receive unemployment benefits, you can do some marketing, such as updating your website and social media. You can also keep in touch with your customers and suppliers. You may only do this if it helps you resume your business in the future.
