Register with Arbetsförmedlingen on your first day of unemployment. You can receive benefits from that date at the earliest. Log in and register at Arbetsförmedlingen
Submit an application for benefits

Follow your To do-list
After you submit your application, a To-do list is created in Mina sidor. This list shows which documents and information you still need to submit. If we add new items to the list, we will send you a notification.
Submit a monthly application
Submit your first monthly application in Mina sidor. You have 3 months to submit it. For example, you can submit the monthly application for January from February until the end of April. What is a monthly application?

Yes, you can apply for unemployment benefit even if you have resigned from your job. However, you may be suspended for 45 suspension days if you resigned without a valid reason. To avoid suspension, the resignation must be due to valid reasons, such as not receiving your salary or being unable to continue working due to illness.
