If you become unemployed, you can apply for benefits from us on Mina sidor. If you have never worked, you cannot receive benefits. We pay basic benefits and income-based benefits to our members. We also pay basic benefits to those who are not members of another unemployment insurance fund.
You can receive basic benefits if you
The basic benefit is based on the number of hours you have worked. The maximum payment is SEK 510 per day. If you are not a member you pay an administration fee of SEK 7 for each day you receive benefits.
You can receive income-based benefits if you
The income-based benefit is based on the number of hours you have worked and your previous income. It is maximum SEK 1 200 per day and is reduced over time.
Day 1-100
You can receive a maximum of 80% of your previous income, up to a maximum of SEK 1 200 per day of payment.
Day 101-200
You can receive a maximum of 80% of your previous income, up to a maximum of SEK 1 000 per day of payment.
Day 201-300
You can receive a maximum of 70% of your previous income, up to a maximum of SEK 1 000 per day of payment. If you have a child or children under 18 years of age you can receive this amount until day 450.
You can receive benefits during 300 days, a maximum of 5 days a week. If you have children under the age of 18, you will automatically receive an additional 150 days. Every period of benefits begins with 2 qualifying days (karensdagar). You will not receive benefits during these days and they are not deducted from your 300 days.
